By visiting or using this website, you agree to these terms of use and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Purpose of this website

This website is published by the Tatiana Sutherland campaign to share information about her candidacy for District of Muskoka Council in the 2026 municipal election, and to allow residents to volunteer, request a lawn sign, contact the campaign, or contribute. Official election information, including voting dates and locations, is provided by the Township of Muskoka Lakes.

Permitted use and prohibited conduct

You may use this site for personal, non-commercial purposes related to the 2026 municipal election. You agree not to misuse the site, including by submitting false or misleading information, submitting forms on behalf of someone else without permission, attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or its data, sending automated or bulk submissions, scraping content, or using the site to harass others or distribute unlawful content.

Intellectual property

The campaign name, logo, photography, graphics, and written content on this site are the property of the Tatiana Sutherland campaign or are used with permission. You may share links to this site freely. You may not reproduce, alter, or redistribute campaign materials in a way that misrepresents the campaign or suggests endorsement without written permission.

Donations and contribution rules

Contributions made through this site are subject to Ontario municipal election financing rules. Contributions may only be made by eligible individuals, are subject to legal contribution limits, and are not tax deductible. Contributor names, addresses, and amounts may be reported and publicly disclosed as required by law. Payments are handled by our third-party payment processor; the campaign does not store complete payment card details. If a contribution is made in error or exceeds a legal limit, contact the campaign and we will arrange a refund or return of the contribution as required.

Email and communications

When you donate, volunteer, request a sign, or contact us, we may email you about that request — for example a contribution receipt or a confirmation of your submission — and we may send occasional campaign updates related to the 2026 election.

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Selecting it opens a secure preference page where you can opt out of campaign email, and opt back in later if you change your mind. Opting out takes effect immediately and applies to all campaign email sent to that address, so you do not need to contact us first.

You can also ask us to remove your email address, phone number, or mailing address from our records at any time by emailing tatijsutherland@gmail.com or calling (705) 644-1888. Note that records the campaign is legally required to keep for election financial reporting cannot be deleted until those obligations end.

Third-party links

This site links to third-party websites, including the Township of Muskoka Lakes elections page, the Muskoka Community Land Trust, our payment processor, and social media platforms. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The content on this site is provided for general information and is offered without warranties of any kind. While we work to keep information accurate and current, election dates, locations, and procedures are set by the municipality and should be confirmed with the Township of Muskoka Lakes. To the extent permitted by law, the campaign is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or reliance on its content.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date, and continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.
